At Amanda's Podiatry we take your & our health care very seriously. During Lockdown the clinic has been open for high risk patients & emergencies only.
The Good news we are reopening on Monday 8th June 2020, and our guidance will allow the podiatrist
to treat patients first with:
acute/limb threating Conditions.
Debilitating/life affecting conditions/painful feet.
But it is not business as usual,
We ask each & everyone to please have patience, as we prioritise patients to their needs.
Our opening times may differ for a while.
In the clinic we follow strict hygiene & cleaning procedures. We wanted to advise extra cleaning measures have been put into place for pre/post per patient visit. Hand washing facilities & hand sanitiser is available. Our waiting room is closed during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Further addtional safety measures in place are :
Everyone will be triaged prior to thier appointments.
Hand hygiene to be carried out as patients enter the building.
In order to reduce contact with others, if you are early for your appointment please wait in the car or 2 metres from the door.
If you feel safer, please cover your face.
Please attend your appointment on your own if possible.
Contactless payments if possible.
Home visits are available for specific cases at present.
we are aware of patient's who are shielding and we respect this 100%, but we are here if needed.
we aim to ensure each patient feels safe & comfortable at their appointments by installing a sneeze screen, this sits over the bench between you & the podiatrist, we will also be in full PPE, aprons, masks, visor & gloves.
However if you are unsure, we can cancel or rearrange you appointment.
If you have been feeling unwell or think you have the Coronavirus, it is not advisable to attend the clinic as we do have patients vulnerable to infection.
so we would advise you to contact NHS 111 for up to date information.
This is not to alarm anyone, but we do care.
